What is Habit 3?
Habit 3 is 'Put First Things First'. We use the term 'big rocks' to identify the things that are most important in our lives. The choices leaders make are likely to reflect what is important to them: their big rocks. Leaders also prioritize things in their lives such as choosing to work first, then play.

Practice As a FamilyIdentify the big rocks in your family unit (choose no more than six). Share with your child what choices you (and they) can make to support how important they are (i.e. prioritizing family meal time, reading before bedtime).
|
Make GoalsChoose a few chores for your child to be in charge of around the house (make bed, set table, feed pet). Help your child prioritize work before play.
