What is Habit 1?
Habit 1 is 'Be Proactive'. Being a proactive leader requires initiative--doing things, the right things (especially when it is hard!) Proactivity is also something we do without being asked. We talked about how we can show proactivity in our learning, with our friends, and with our families at home. We also talked about how being proactive does not necessarily mean everything will go the way we want it to. There are things in our lives we cannot control! Proactive leaders recognize the things they can and cannot control and make the most of the things they can.
